My Thing

I had someone ask me, recently, why I never respond to political posts, state my opinion, or if it's just not "my thing". Well, here it is... I am tired of politics. I choose not to enter the fray, as there is little that I find more stressful, and nothing I can add, that hasn't already been said. Compromise is good, but no one seems willing. Everyone is always right. I don't hide my head in the sand, and I'm fully aware of most goings-on, but I will draw my own conclusions, based on what I read, and what I see. I doubt any postings have changed a multitude of minds. Discourse is good though, so, people, keep on keepin' on. Just don't count on me to interject. Just writing these couple of sentences is more than I really wanted to say, so I'm done with that, now.

I don't have that person in my life, with whom I can discuss, what I would love to discuss, because it's just not in the realm of what most care about. I know they're out there, but I'm not in that circle. I LOVE cities....always have. I love comparing cities...always have. If you are interested in city proper vs MSA, vs CSA, comparing GDP per capita, population density, how cities rank in their number of Fortune 500 companies, which city has the best Central Business District (CBD), and so on, and so forth, I would love to buy you breakfast, and we could kick it around, for hours. So, there you have it...that's my thing.
