No matter how loudly we yell
no matter how right we know we are
no matter how vehemently we disagree
we're still only one.
We can raise our voice to its highest level
be a fly in the ointment
lash out violently
OR...
We can go about our business
have an opinion
state an opinion
and hope a majority agrees with us.
If not, I guess, so be it...
a bitter pill to swallow
