Giannis

Just chiming in here. I made the mistake of reading some articles on the possibility of Giannis being traded, and I think every possible article written on the subject now, presents itself front and center. I've never seen him play...in person. The only time I've visited the Fiserv Forum, was to see Andrea Bocelli. A beautiful, memorable night...especially when he donned a Bucks jacket to sing Nessun Dorma. Nessun Dorma...always and forever, my favorite aria.

I've followed the Bucks for decades, and have attended games in the past, where I've watched Bob Lanier, Oscar Robertson, Ray Allen (why on earth did they trade Ray Allen??), Sidney Moncrief, Marques Johnson, Junior Bridgeman (RIP), and others, secure victories...well, and maybe a loss, or two. Not Giannis, though...yet.

Basketball isn't my favorite spectator sport. I appreciate the sport, though, and what it brings to cities fortunate enough to have a team. When players are traded, it's an adjustment...for the fan. Well, I guess, for the player, as well. 😉 They uproot, put their house up for sale, and move on. Our daughter actually messaged with a player that was traded, as they had looked at his house, looked at other houses, and then decided they'd look again at his house. By that time, it was no longer for sale.

Hoping Giannis will stay...still some time for that decision to be made. He's good for the team, and the city of Milwaukee. Unless one is living in a bubble, we'll know the minute that decision is made. Sports analysts can't seem can't seem to get enough of speculating about this one.
