Imagine the world, without competition. No one aspiring for individual recognition, no medals, no honors. Everything created, invented, produced by an individual, a group, a company, a corporation...only for the good of man. Accepted with gratitude and thanks, but with it, no honor, no recognition, no accolades. What would the state of things be? And, boring? Sure. Isn't competition innate? What would drive us to excel, in whatever our chosen field. Isn't drive fueled, at least in part, by competition? Of course it is.
Anyway, late night thoughts, fueled by too much daytime coffee and the Brewer/Cubs game. Good times. Oh, and go Brew Crew!!
