Grandpa and grandson...pondering. Well, and maybe just looking outside and wondering what their day will bring. How sad it is, though, that there are families who no longer communicate, as their political views differ, and their undies are in a bundle.
Where does one begin. Or, maybe, just don't begin? Nothing will be solved, people might get ticked, and what I write might not even be suitable for a 102 essay. Oh, well...
Are we all so married to our beliefs, that whatever we see before us, can only be interpreted one way? Is there no middle ground, where we might take pause...and think that what we're seeing, could (actually) be interpreted differently? If we're unable to see another side to an action, a thought, a response...doesn't that make us close-minded? Just the opposite of what we all like to think we are? If you come at me, ready for battle regarding my thoughts, take a look in the mirror...and just think about it. Doesn't mean we have to agree on what separates us, but we can't all be unequivocally correct. (I was going to end that sentence with the word "right", but that might be problematic).
Anyway, this is just me with my early morning 4 AM (ish) thoughts. There's much I disagree with, but I don't go there. If I'm challenged, I'll walk away, as that's someone coming at me, who doesn't think they can be wrong. And, I guess, me thinking..."If only they had a clue." And so it goes.
